We Got the Author’s Permission to Translate!

This is perhaps the first-ever announcement post I’ve made. Typically, I’d just write short footnotes at the end of a chapter, but I felt this deserved a post of its own.

v-rustl contacted the author of I Became A VTuber and received their due permission to translate the web novel into English (albeit delayed, but permission nonetheless)! They suggested I translate from kakuyomu’s platform because the chapters there are more polished. C1-C60 are from syosetu, but I plan to proceed with the kakuyomu version from 61 onwards. I also agreed to comply with take-down requests and the like should the novel get serialized in the future.
